Their are many devices such as mobile phones and tv box’s still running Android 4.4.2 ‘KITKAT’ Mygica have ported KODI 17 to this operating system, so their is now no need to chuck out your device.

Installation procedure is pretty simple

Google Playstore – download FIREDL – Typed 60002 and click download and wait for that to complete and the APP installation prompt.

Head down to the section that says ‘latest embc download’ and download the top link – This will download you a APK file in which you simply transfer onto a memory device, insert into your tv box and then use your APK installer application ‘installed on most devices’ and install the APK

Ensure you uninstall other versions of KODI before attempting to install, not sure if it runs alongside other versions just yet.
